Assortment & Orders
Yes. Our store is located at Segringer Straße 14 in Dinkelsbühl. We are open Monday to Saturday. You can find the exact business hours and directions under Contact .
You will receive a 12-month warranty on your luxury watch, as well as on any jewelry we make, from the date of purchase. When you purchase one of our branded watches, jewelry or accessories, the manufacturer's warranty applies.
Our luxury watches undergo a full inspection before purchase to guarantee their authenticity.
Shipment
The product-specific delivery times stated on the product page apply to all products we offer. The product-specific delivery times can be found on each product page under the "Delivery & Returns" section!
As a rule, you can expect the following delivery times:
- Standard delivery: approx. 2-5 working days
- Exclusive watches: approx. 1-4 working days
- Coming soon: Production: approx. 3-4 weeks, products in this category are made to order
- Re-produced/re-ordered goods: approx. 10-15 working days, these products are currently on their way back to our warehouse or store. Delivery times as with a standard delivery cannot be 100% guaranteed.
Once you have completed the purchase through our online store, you will shortly receive a confirmation email from our store.
We only ship our products to the customer insured, using our jewelry service via UPS. (Exception: luxury watches over €25,000 - armored vehicle)
You can track the package at any time using the tracking number. Delivery usually takes 2-3 working days.
A detailed list of our shipping costs can be found in the shipping/delivery conditions .
We will also send you a tracking number for your package via email with your order confirmation. You can enter this number and track it with our logistics partner . This will allow you to track your package all the way to your home.
Yes, it is possible to pick up goods ordered online from our store. Please note that we can only release the goods to you after payment has been received and upon presentation of the order confirmation (printout or digital document).
Return & Exchange Policy
To give you complete security when making your purchase, we grant you a 14-day right of return. If you are not satisfied with your watch or jewelry, you can return the goods free of charge. We ask that you let us know your decision by email or phone. We will then send you a label for free and insured return shipping.
You have a 14-day right of return after receiving the goods.
In the event of cancellation, we will cover the costs of insured return shipping for luxury watches. In this case, we will arrange for the ordered goods to be collected from your home.
For all other returns, you as the customer will bear the cost of return shipping.
Yes, we insure the watches for return shipping.
Purchase of gold & jewelry
We look at all your goods when purchasing gold and jewelry. Don't worry about the weight.
No, you do not need an appointment.
However, if you have a large lot to sell, we ask that you call our customer service department beforehand so that we can schedule an expert to inspect it.
Yes, a pure valuation is also possible. Please note that we have to charge a service fee for this if the amount of valuables exceeds a certain amount, for example in the case of inheritances.
Purchase of watches
When preparing our purchase offers, we take into account the current market prices of the model. Condition, scope of delivery and year of manufacture influence our offer either positively or negatively.
Of course. We know that it is impossible to know the entire history of a watch and that it can easily happen that documents get lost.
If information is missing, our experts will fill in the necessary gaps to make a fair purchase offer.
If you want to sell your watch straight away and want to be paid quickly, we recommend selling it directly. However, if you are not under any time pressure and it is not crucial to sell the watch quickly, we recommend selling it on commission. This usually results in a higher purchase price, which is paid to you.
Service & Repairs
Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a general statement here. Every repair is usually slightly different. The costs are made up of the material used and the amount of work our goldsmith has to do.
However, we assure you that a repair by Schmuckatelier Lang will never cost as much as the same work done by big jewelers!
Unfortunately, it is not possible to give an exact time frame for each different repair. The effort varies from case to case. We will give you an estimate of the time required for each repair request.
For "normal" everyday repairs (e.g. soldering a chain) we usually plan a maximum of 3-4 working days, depending on the order situation. For repairs that require the ordering of spare parts, etc., you can expect a processing time of up to 2 weeks.
We also offer a repair service for our online customers. We also accept your watches and jewelry that need to be repaired by post.
To do this, send an enquiry to our customer service by email or telephone and describe your personal repair case. You will receive an assessment of whether a repair at Schmuckatelier Lang makes sense or not (e.g. paying shipping costs for a simple battery change in a quartz watch) and a cost estimate. Now the decision is yours.
Goldsmith work
Our exclusive jewelry pieces are lovingly handcrafted according to your ideas in our studio. Our jewelry services (repairs, etc.) are also carried out there by our goldsmith.
The SL Collection is our own jewelry collection. Most of the pieces are in stock and are regularly produced by us.
A custom-made piece is our offer to you to create a piece of jewelry according to your ideas and taking into account your own requirements (which materials? which gemstone? or your own initials).
Basically, nothing is impossible! We look forward to every individual production for our customers and try to bring every idea to life.
It doesn't matter whether you are inspired by our pieces of jewelry and want to personalize them, put together a piece of jewelry on our website using the configurator (coming soon) or have a completely unique idea and want to bring it to life.
When ordering a custom piece of jewelry, you can generally expect the finished piece of jewelry to be ready about one month after placing your order. Depending on the order, we will then send you the piece of jewelry or you can pick it up from our shop in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.
Only the finest materials are used for all the jewelry we offer, after all, your piece of jewelry will accompany you for a lifetime.
Ultimately, however, you have the choice and we create the jewelry using the material of your choice. From 925 sterling silver to 950 platinum to all common gold variants in the jewelry sector (8, 14 or 18 carat; yellow gold, white gold or rose gold).
