1) Cancellation policy
If the customer is a consumer and has concluded a contract with the provider using exclusively means of distance communication, in particular by telephone, e-mail or fax, or via the provider's website, he is entitled to cancel his declaration of intent to conclude the contract within fourteen days without giving reasons. The period begins at the earliest on the day after receipt of the goods, if at this time the consumer has already received this cancellation policy in text form. by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email) of your decision to cancel this contract. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
Consequences of cancellation
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
In the case of contracts for the delivery of goods, we may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.
The customer shall bear the shipping costs for a return shipment.
Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of cancellation
The right of cancellation expires prematurely if the so-called ‘hang tags’ have been removed from the watch. Watches can only be returned if the ‘hang tag’ is in an undamaged original condition!
If a watch has suffered damage that can be proven to have been caused by the buyer, the buyer must bear 100% of the costs for reconditioning.
General instructions for returning goods
1) Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.
2) Write a short e-mail to home@schmuckatelier-lang.de, so we are informed about your about your cancellation and the incoming package.
3) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
4) Please note that the above paragraphs 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
