This Rolex Submariner Date, reference 16618, in 18k yellow gold, is offered as an absolute collector's full set from 1993.
The original warranty certificate from 1993, the accompanying booklets for the Submariner, the calendar with leather case, the Rolex cloth, the hang tag, the gold anchor, as well as the original box with outer box and a complete service receipt from January 2025 are included in the delivery.
This model is in very well-preserved collector's condition and comes with its original set. The "purple" dial, which has faded evenly to a dark purple over the years, appears more bluish or almost grape-colored in different lighting conditions. There are slight, superficial signs of wear on the strap and case, but no deep nicks or scratches. The strap has minimal stretch and is designed for a wrist size of 18.5 cm. The case is in very good, sharp, and well-preserved condition.
This is the 40mm version of the Submariner Date in 18 karat yellow gold with the automatic caliber 3135 and a rare dial variant called "Purple Dial".
The automatic caliber 3135 is running perfectly. It was fully overhauled and tested in January 2025. No service is required.
